Privacy information

1. Controller

The controller for this website is Tiptoe Films — Daniel Scheimberg, at the address and contact details listed above.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, c/o Spaces, Gertrudenstraße 30–36, 50667 Köln, Germany. When the site is requested, the hosting system processes technical data needed to deliver and secure it. This can include the IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser or user agent, and HTTP status.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing a stable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Host Europe states that archived Apache customer logs for this hosting product are retained for 14 days. Further information is available in the Host Europe privacy policy.

3. Embedded YouTube videos

The film page contains embedded trailers from YouTube’s Privacy-Enhanced Mode domain. The players are lazy-loaded, but a connection to YouTube can be established when the trailer section approaches the browser viewport, even before a visitor presses play. Technical data such as the visitor’s IP address, referrer and browser information may then be transmitted to Google or YouTube. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that connection.

4. Cookies, analytics and accounts

This static site sets no first-party tracking cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, account system, checkout or mailing-list form. External project links are opened only when selected.

5. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact Tiptoe Films, the information you provide is processed to answer the inquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual communication, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other legitimate correspondence. Information is deleted when it is no longer required, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Questions or requests can be sent to the contact address above.
